The sprawling Poultry Haven of the Oyo State Poultry Association of Nigeria was a beehive of activities on 31st July 2019. There it happened for the first time, again in the ’pacesetter’ state.  Participants were unanimous in commending the Poultry Association of Nigeria, Oyo State chapter (PANOY) for bringing together the Nigerian Veterinary Medical  Association (NVMA), Animal Science Association of Nigeria (ASAN) and Nigerian Association of Animal Health and Husbandry Technologist (NAAHHT) in the state to jointly organize the first ever PANOY Poultry Workshop. He therefore pleads for massive government and international aids to rescue the Nigeria Poultry Industry. He encouraged all poultry farmers who are yet to register with PAN to do so in their zones in order to benefit from PAN interventions at all times.

The General Secretary of PANOY, Dr Olugbenga Ogunwole, in his welcome remarks, hammered on the need for all relevant associations in the poultry value chain to collaborate to bring meaningful development to the industry.
